What is happening at The Exchange from 19th July

 

We will continue to keep you safe.
We will continue to ask you to wear masks on your way to your seat and when moving around the venue.
We will respect the expectations that were in place when you booked your ticket.
We will exchange your tickets or offer a voucher should you no longer feel comfortable attending.
We will keep you regularly informed if the public health risks diminish going forwards.

We know that audiences have purchased tickets in the knowledge that certain safety measures are going to be in place. We will maintain these where possible, for the comfort and protection of our visitors, staff and volunteers.

The first event to use our normal seating plan will be Totally Tina on Friday 6th August.

Face Coverings, Hand Sanitation and Check-in

In accordance with the Government’s advice to businesses, we would encourage customers to continue to wear a face covering to reduce the risk both to themselves and to others and respectfully request that customers continue to use the hand sanitisers provided, and to check in using the NHS COVID-19 app.

Wearing a face covering helps to protect those around you and reduce the spread of coronavirus. We understand that not everyone is able to wear a face covering but, if you are, we ask you to please continue wearing one after 19 July when you are moving around The Exchange. When seated in our auditorium we fully understand that some people will feel more comfortable without their face covering on

The volume and intensity of cleaning of all surfaces and contact points across our building will not diminish and hand sanitiser will still be available throughout the building.  We have plenty of hand sanitiser stations at entrances, exits and all rooms. It is important to continue using it so please do so whilst you are in The Exchange

Venues are no longer legally required to ask customers, visitors and staff to “check in” (attendees can scan the NHS QR code poster via the NHS COVID-19 app or provide their contact details). Although it isn’t a requirement, we strongly encourage you to scan our NHS QR code poster which is at both entrances into the building and we will be maintaining our “logbook”  for those who cannot scan the QR code.

Book with confidence

It is still very important that you do not attend events if you have symptoms of Covid-19. If you have been told to self-isolate or are displaying symptoms, please contact our Box Office team no later than 1 hour before the performance starts, to cancel your booking and receive the value of your tickets as a refund or voucher.
