After 18 years of bums on seats our stalls are tired, our 2026 goal is to raise £35,000 for a complete refresh of the theatre stalls in Stour Hall.

Stour Hall requires specialised seating that meets UK Safety standards for theatre style venues. As you can imagine that doesn’t come without a large price tag!

But we do enjoy putting the “Fun” into “Fundraising”.

Many of our regulars will have already spotted that we are holding monthly raffle draws, who doesn’t enjoy a Raffle?! With lots of prizes to be won throughout the year it’s always worth trying your luck, January’s Star prize must have been the Plush Highland Cow based on the number of people who stopped to coo over him. He has now found a loving home.

If Raffles aren’t for you there will be plenty of shows, events and activities throughout the year that we are sure you will love to get stuck into. Proceeds from the Beer Festival are sure to help contribute towards our goal and you shouldn’t miss the Northen Soul Night we have planned for May.

So, if you’re a regular theatre goer, or someone who joins us for one our many groups, get stuck in and Pull Up a Seat!
